Can anyone ID this? I haven't tested but suspect either 10K or 14K. There are a number of similar pins with the tiny 2nd pin that are sorority. Thinking someone is going to recognize this.

Also often these pins have tiny rubies or garnets with the seed pearls, this one has almost a purple color accent stone. Any ideas what that might be?

    Thanks for taking a look!

Big close up photo here, but these pins are small. The larger is 1/3 inch.

I assume numbers are a date? Also wonder what that tiny mark is above?

The "little pin" is for the chapter name - in this case xi.

    Thanks, Bakers.

So the tiny tiny side pin with 3 rows of pearls is the chapter name? So chapter 11? Curious how you are reading that. (Not doubting, just curious!)

Wondering if a fraternity ...Phi Kappa? I just found a close match. Would mine with that 2nd pin definitely be from a fraternity? Thanks!

Not "chapter 11" Chapter xi - the Greek letter, not Roman numerals.

The sisterhood name is apparently Kappa Phi.

Glad you found that fraternity connection, because I could not find a match to the pin picture.

Ah, got it on the small pin. Thank you, Bakers.

Phi Kappa, Kappa Phi.... so mine is definitely a fraternity? Was curious if they used different symbols? Additional thoughts welcome as I plan to list.

Hope everyone is having a good start to the weekend.

I'm not finding a Kappa Phi or a Phi Kappa national collegiate fraternity. All I see is this small regional Christian collegiate sorority. That may well be it.

As above, chapter is smaller pin. I can't read it but doesn't like like X (pronounced chi) to me. Also, Kappa Phi above, doesn't run to a X chapter.)

Pledge's initials and initiation date on back. The month is May which is odd because pledging takes place at beginning of school year.

You can contact them here if you want to confirm or not.

That's the one organization I found, too, Debora. Unfortunately no picture of a pin or logo.

Here's their logo now. Not the same as your pin but could have evolved a bit over time. However, purple is not one of their colors. There are/were hundreds of fraternal organizations around using Greek letters.

Good idea. At very least, you'll be able to eliminate.

JMHO I think this pin is not a fraternity pin as I think the pearls & the "amethyst" stones give it a too feminine look.

It is a little darling, Lucille. And I agree, the stones look like amethysts.

This is what Bakers meant: Ξ which is pronounced XI (xi).:)
