Chinese or Japanese can anyone decipher the signature

Hmmm. Looks to me like a fabric design, showing only the black color (outline?) and not including the places where other colors would be printed. There are several places where the "picture" stops mid drawing as if something else would be there. Definitely part of a larger work of some kind.

I have 3 Japanese kimono fabric design pages that are also only the black outlines on white paper which I need to dig out of the closet (don't worry they are framed.)

 

I'd say Japanese, but not worth 7.50 let alone 750!
