Featured Large Silver Bead That Rotates

    Hello again. I got this bead in N. Thailand in the 90's. I always assumed it was a hilltribe bead and somehow put it away and forgot about it (I guess because I preferred wearing small beads). The other beads on this restrung strand are fairly modern, but now I'm curious if the large one is Tibetan. Anyone know?     It looks like it rotates around a copper tube, which may or may not be original to the bead. The tube probably serves to prevent the edges of the bead cutting through a necklace cord.
    The edges on Tibetan or Nepali repoussé designs are more rounded. Your bead reminds me of Chinese silver repoussé rings I used to have, which were like this one:

    I was curious because of the copper tube in the center, which I can't find any examples of, except for this:
