Can someone tell me about this oil painting by artist G Nobes? Thank you.

I can't help you much at all but the others who can are going to want to see the back of the painting as well as some closeups of the mill & the signature.

How big is the painting? Does it have any indication on the back if it was professionally framed?

 

Here's another by G. Nobes. (1950s from the clothing.) I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't a Sunday painter.
