Sorry that I was late to the discussion. Seems like you sorted it out though and carried on with a great conversation.

I'm more versed in vehicles manufactured in the US however I can reach out to some fellow collectors and ask them about finding parts for Triang Line
Brothers cars. Maybe you can bring the shine out on the diamond.

I have reached out to a cousin in Australia, but most parts are reproduction. I would like to try for originals first....dreaming I guess :)

Definitely much needed help Neal and thanks

Today I went to a local guy 'Collector" I was gob smacked. The amount of Vintage pedal cars and anything produced by the Triang Brothers, he has it, beautifully displayed and some amazingly restored. He doesn't have the version I have. Also told me that its going to be next to impossible to get original parts. He might have a hubcap that I have missing... Next time I visit I will take some photos to share..

That’s a pity about the original parts (but it was expected) But reproduction parts won’t be a problem right? What does he say about the overall condition of your car? If he doesn’t have your version does that mean it’s rare?

First thing he asked if I am selling it.... He would have loved to have it. I am having a feeling its rare for a reason or an other. He had in much worse condition then mine. Actually according to him its not in a very bad state. According to him its the mudguards that could be of a slight problem to reproduce. He himself does some iron work but not that kind. In meantime I sent an email to a group on FB Tri-ang Pedal Car Parts, I sent them the photos and asked if they can give me information. Snail steps...but good steps

Agreed. Good steps. Also if he wants it then that’s a very good sign..

That's what I thought, but a few years back I tried the market and I got positive feedback. I had no information about it at that time. I am liking my car more and more :)
