    Hello all,
Today at work (I work in a charity shop) I unpacked this decanter.

I googled the design and it is identical to the Bavarian Nachtmann Traube decanter (as featured here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/114406725179 and here: https://www.replacements.com/crystal-nachtmann-traube-wine-decanter-with-stopper/p/19260731).

However, the sticker on the front says "INNSBRUCK AUSTRIA BAYR BLEIKRISTALL HANDGESCHLIFFEN". How can this be? Is it a replica made by another studio/factory? Or has someone simply put another sticker on the original item?

I would be very grateful for any info on this.

Nachtmann Traube possibly sold their blanks but IMHO this is a very common pattern.

    JMHO.
meaning "in the fashion of" Bavaria. most glass was made in the Bayrischer Wald region and on the other side in today's Czechia where the forest was called Böhmer Wald.
