    Hi all,
I found this today & I thought it was beautiful & well done (I like the flowers' colors against the dark background; makes them pop) - and was wondering if I was right & my art taste is improving - or if it's just another factory painting?
Also can anyone tell me who the artist is; looks like Julio maybe?
Thank you for any help, it is appreciated!

Agreed! Lovely compared with a lot of what’s out there. The use of severe black is called “chiaroscuro” and it’s quite collectible in paintings (I am a big fan) :) :)
EDIT: what an attractive rabbit hole!

Wee one in the garden, doesn't cause much trouble:D. (Not what you were thinking?)

    I too like journey's painting.

Thank you guys - I didn't think factory/China I guess mainly because it was done on board.

So what is the back like? The surface does look rather like canvas to me. Board as in wood?

Masonite? (Reason why photographs of the back of works always helpful.)

Sorry - back is covered with black paper probably from whoever framed it, but I'll get a photo of it

Doesn't really matter. Just curious. And probably sold pre-framed.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

It is very attractive. You find such interesting paintings, @journeymagazine -- I've looked locally, and almost never find any interesting art where I live.
