Featured Coolest maker's label on pottery cups --Davenport Hunting Scenes Crazing ques

    I think these cups are so fun. ID'd them already, but check out the maker's stamp on base. Isn't that little fox face something!

    I do have one question. One of the cups has pretty severe crazing inside, and I had a terrible experience once cleaning an item with deep crazing like this and it made it SO MUCH WORSE. Luckily the cup here is already clean, but I worry if I sell these that the new owner might have the same thing happen.

    Sterident tablet or other denture cleaner will clear it.

    those are pretty cool Lucille:) I would make sure to stress that one has heavy crazing inside with good photos (like the one above. Or maybe you could list 5 mugs for sale and explain that you will include an additional mug that has heavy crazing for free (with photos)? Maybe mention it displays well?

    If denture cleaner doesn't work try a soak with a dishwasher tablet.
