I found this older oak coffee table at a garage sale and was hoping someone will recognize the rest of the partial label, which says "...MIDLER BROS. ..."

    It measures 48" x 30" x 16"

And I'm in the US Pacific Northwest.

    Thanks for looking.

Mission oak from early 20th century. Label may be a retailer. It is a cut down library table. Missing feet as well. Here is a similar one that is intact.

Huh. Interesting! I never would have guessed that. Thank you for the leads!

Yep-- I can see on the bottom (inc in the pic) where the feet were attached at one time.

Unfortunately there was a time in mid 20th century when a fair number of old tables were cut down to make the newly invented "coffee table" that all houses needed to put in front of their new TV. Sometimes will see a victorian marble-top table that has been subjected to the same indignity.
