Featured Lea Stein????

Hello! I have two brooches. There are no questions for the first golden lady. Lea Stein's signature on the pin. The second is very similar to the Lea Stein brooches, but there is only a very old Made in France tag. Perhaps this brooch is Lea Stein, but older ????

 

The internet does attribute the parrot to Lea Stein as an early, unsigned piece. A Google Images search will bring up other examples. Here's one.

Found it on the internet.

Check if the merchandise is signed by Lea Stein Paris. Some pins are not signed prior to the 1960s and a V-shaped clasp was used. The V-clasp was later signed by Lea Stein Paris and attached to the back of the pin. Other items do not always have a signature, but you can distinguish originality by its style.

 

Those both look fine for Stein.

 

I would also say Lea Stein for the parrot. And for the signed lady, obviously.
