Perhaps a 'tasse à vin' rather than 'tasse de vin', though 'tastevin' is usual...

I think a 'tasse' would be perfect for a place without a licquor licence.;)

Hehe, my French is pathetic anymore, having lost any ability to speak it, and following a conversation only possible if spoken to slowly (like that happens), but oddly, I still read it rather easily, and to me, 'tasse de vin' meant an unlikely 'cup of wine' (though I've certainly added alcohol to other beverages in a cup), but a 'tasse à vin' seems to be an alternate term for a tastevin...

Ah, didn't know that, thanks for telling me.
We always use the word 'tastevin', and that is also what I have come across in France. 'Chevaliers du tastevin', and all that.:)

'Tastevin' to me as well, but 'tasse à vin' comes up in French descriptions as well:

It's strictly tastevin - to taste wine.

    That's what I thought too.
The French wiki page on the subject says:
"Un tastevin, appelé aussi tasse de dégustation, tâte-vin, ou goûte-vin".
    https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tastevin

From the same page, the world's largest tastevin, in Bruéjouls, Aveyron. Sometimes the French like American things.;)

My wine teacher would have objected to the shape, no dimples or bumps to judge the colour etc.
