Featured Hello everyone! Thought this was Thai temple rubbing but it's not

Hello everyone!

At booties I'm always on a mish and grab things that look interesting, and I look closer when I get home. This usually works out for me thankfully.

I've seen Thai temple rubbings on here and I saw this and thought it may be one so slapped it into my bag.
When I got home I noticed it's not a rubbing...is it a painting,friends? I can't work out what it's on. Some sort of linen maybe?
It's 13 inches across (33 cms) and 12 inches down (31 cms)
Can't really read the thing on the back...it says something and then QUALITY.
I'd just like to know what it is so I can learn.

It is Thai, and it looks like a print on fabric. Nice colours. The girls are musicians, and they could be based on a temple carving.
The frame looks late 70s-80s.

No idea why I didn't even think of a print.
Agree about the frame, it's not very nice but it's in great condition and will leave well alone !

The colours go well with the print. I had one of those frames too, and painted over the 'rainforest decor'. I still have another one, which I haven't painted over yet. It has a charming Japanese fan leaf.

 

It's such a colourful piece, fits in well here ( if I can find wall room) ( I will,I always do!)
