It's not the heat here although it's hot, it's the HUMIDITY! sub-tropical here and when outside you just sweat, sun or shade, working or not working it doesn't matter, you just SWEAT!

 

How humid is it you asked? It's SO HUMID that central air, whose primary function is to dehumidify is NOT ENOUGH. I have to have a whole-house dehumidifier going
24- 7 to keep up with hells front porch.

 

NO! I disagree, in the west it gets HOT temp wise but the humidity is MUCH LOWER so, if you get in the shade, it's not to bad.
With humidity, there is NO ESCAPE!

Alrighty then, I had been tracking a reproduction eastern shore va. cupboard built by DR Dimes, a good quality builder of repro colonial furniture forms.
Just to see kinda thing, the estimate was $800-$1200, it sold this morning for
$3000. hammer or about $3900 with BP on 25 bids.
Definitely put a spring in my step! I made the correct decision with my period cupboard!
