    Those are definitely warriors, and some of them are riding camels. Hmmm....

    Perhaps the "cat" like figures with the long tails are demons. Consistent with my theory of this being Qajar work:

    Demon seems like a good possibility -- as long as they were depicted with tails (I didn't see a full body example on my quick google, so I don't know if they were).

    I love this piece and the different bits everyone is seeing. I tried for some time to sort what was on the central figure's head and got nowhere.
