Hello everyone! I picked this little guy up at a local antique store. He measures about 5 3/8" high and about 4 1/4" from nose to tail. I looked around the web for him but the closest I came was some hillbilly figurines by Brayton-Laguna. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks much!

Might first reaction is not Brayton, maybe Japanese or Italian. Based only on opinion.
