Need Help Identifying This Piece, Please.

    I acquired this piece at a yard sale and I am unable to identify what it is. The posts on the front have the days of the week, in German, in some kind of metal that is soft like lead. There is a marking on the back as well and a wire to hang on the wall.

    I have tried several searches including image searches, but not getting a hit. I do hope you fine people may know what this is :)
