Featured I haz done jools again

Went up to an outdoor market yesterday, first time since September 2019.

Jools ensued. As did cheap chocolate, a really good sausage in a roll, and way too many books from the lovely woman who always gives me a hefty discount and was rather pleased to see I was still alive.

Bracelet is fake amber, the necklace is the real thing. Bracelet needs new elastic but I think has some proper age.

I love amber! The real stuff is such a gorgeous colour.
Is the panel bracelet MOP or lucite? it looks a nice quality one. Where do you think the earrings originate from?
I was going car booting this morning but the weather forecast was dodgy so I stayed in bed as I think many sellers would have been put off. There is one at lunchtime, it’s a bit further away but the forecast is looking better so I may trundle down there for a look especially as the other one local to that was cancelled so there may be some more sellers.

 

I went to car boot, they'd not updated the phone line. It was SHUT. Pah. Did one yesterday which got rained on, but I still got Stuff. I am in a grump.

The bracelet seems to be MOP fronts bonded to a Lucite or smilar back, you can see the separateness of the components. I suspect the earrings are Portuguese. I'd not notmally buy fake amber, but I like the design. Whole lot cost me £18.

Fid, this whole forum is a recovery group except we don't want to be recovered!

I like the amber a great deal, but I think the bracelet is the most interesting. I've elastic somewhere.....
