    Enjoy the food, the people, and the beauty of Thailand. My estate jeweler's wife was from Thailand, and he would travel there and bring back beautiful gems....hope you find lots of treasures!

    Safe travels! It looks absolutely gorgeous. DD1 spent a week or two on business in Bangkok a year or two ago and she enjoyed it, she really loved the people.

    CMU=Chiang Mai University? Digging as in archaeology? (I've been involved with archaeology as an avocation for 15+ years so I had to ask).

    Thanks sis, and Yes and Yes. I also have a friend who has been working on remote ceramic kiln sites in Myanmar for the government so hope to help out there too. He and his team can only work for short periods during "winter" between the hot and rainy season, which is almost the entire year. :) Could be fun.
