I have added this plate to my porceleyne fles collection but I have doubts if it is indeed made by the porceleyne fles under the ownership of Johannes Knotter (1698-1701).

The signature looks close but not exactly like other pieces I have found online. The design on the front looks like these plates but in different colours: https://www.lelandlittle.com/items/...lft-polychrome-plates-i-de-porseleine-fles-i/

Many thanks for sharing your thoughts,
    Patrick

I had an expert on Dutch Delftware to look at this plate and he regrettably informed me that it is an imitation and most likely made in the 1900s in northern France.

I've got a real 1700s one if I can find the photo. Yours is way too considered, if that makes sense.

Thanks for sharing, mine does look a lot newer indeed! Hence I had doubts myself but it's good to know it's an imitation unfortunately. Do you know who the marks on yours belong to?

I do. De drie Klokken, circa 1760. I've had it years, it was in a boxed lot.

It's not my mainstrteam collecting, whatever that is. I love it for its sheer age and honesty.
