    Hello There!

We found this chair needing a home in western IL (outside St Louis) and we are suckers for inlay and a warm tone. What we aren't sure of is the year/Era it comes from or any other possible info about it. Looks like the upholstery has been redone, and we are wondering if the front claw feet aren't original either? No stamp or similar identifier found.
In any case...we are stumped and any help or direction would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Thank you! Oh, it is very comfy (the cats agree - ha!) and we fell for the inlay, too! :)

I agree with the comfy statement. I could take a snooze in that chair.

Those feet do look out of place but you never know. Think Neoclassical, early 20th century / Edwardian.
