Pee'd down with rain last weekend, so I got a few bits but no Jools.

Lovely, obb. Cute Chinese(?) violin brooch.
The silver mask pendant with the gold bit is Balinese.
Is the purplish pendant Blue John or amethyst quartz?
Nice brass cuff.

 

Ah, I did wonder where the pendant was from, Bali makes huge sense, thank you! It looks like a mask, now I peer at it again.

Both brooch and pendant are Blue John. Am I pleased, or what.

Tortie bangle was 50 pence, the copper and brass one a quid, the Bali was five and the WHOLE OF THE REST was a grand ten pounds...

 

So it is! It looked a bit brown at first, like smoky quartz, but now I see the colour.

I can't quite capture the brooch colour, I need to light it better, but it's absolutely Blue John, made by Ward Bros. A score indeed.

The bracelet with iris glass rhinestones is lovely!

 

That narrow bangle is very special. Is it Bakelite?

 

I do like iris stones. It's a bit small, I may need to add a ring. Not sure if the bangle is bakelite or another early plastic. I do like it.
