    That photo looks a hair familiar! I wonder who wrote the article and if he knew my dad. (not being sexist since 99.9% of rail nuts are male in my experience)

    I KNEW ONE OF YOU, had a dad that was a railroader, I just couldn’t remember which one!!! Do you read this freebie, @evelyb30 ?? INTERESTING….I just called it a ‘freebie’, yet they’d like one to subscribe to it to the tune of $35.00 a year….yet it just comes in my email….never paid a dime for it and never asked for it either!!! Oh well, am not complaining…..yet!!!

    Here’s part of the TOC referencing the trains, at least, for you…

    This may bore the H*## out of some, but if you don't get the 'magazine' this was an update today by the Publisher.....sorry for the text...wasn't sure how to just copy it and paste in large enough text.....SO tried something new....

    But what I found fascinating, and completely away from trains, was the Sicilian Donkey Cart that was so like the one Mom found and carted from Move to MOVE to MOVE SO many years ago before she would finally SELL it, not for a killing, but a few hundred dollars!!! BUT it was very cool!!!

    Sicilian Donkey Cart.jpg That's all I got!!!:smug::smug:

    The names aren't familiar to me, and Dad died in 2005 so I can't ask him. But that donkey cart looks familiar too. Thanks for posting the images.
