Does anyone happen to know more about this, there's another one on worth point described as being made of zinc bronze and silver etc.. not sure if that's true but it is heavy enough to be, looking at the back looks like it could be made of separate blocks cemented together with a separate $_57 - 2021-07-24T171410.475.jpg $_57 - 2021-07-24T171458.372.jpg $_57 - 2021-07-24T171444.017.jpg $_57 - 2021-07-24T171426.879.jpg layer covering the base.

I've seen these. They're fairly modern, as in the last thirty years or slightly more, made as decorative plaques.

I recognize some of the designs; they're fairly recent.

Quite a number of them are taken from impressions of neoclassical intaglios.

We've had that fairy figure before. @Any Jewelry knew the designer.

Suspect it is all the same metal with different finishes.

Just saying its more of a crucifix cross shape outline than a square, and you'd guess that's what the designer might be thinking of given its a wall mounted piece like most crucifix...

Im curious where it actually came from, if it was a cheap mass produced thing maybe they might not have made it so heavy

If it were made of anything with any value, like copper, they would have made it much lighter. My guess is it's resin with a metallic finish. One of the panels turns up regularly as cameo jewellery made in artificial material.

'Crucifix' & 'cross' are not synonymous. A crucifix is a depiction of the crucified Christ. The word for something that is cross shaped is 'cruciform'.

Might be, but my first guess would be Homegoods or TJ Maxx, if it was sold in the USA.
