These are not branches, these are bronchi.

Erm, I wondered what the noise was! £20 for this lot including the Schiaparelli brooch so I work that out as £2.86 per item.
As you know,£20 is really pushing the boat out for me ;) but I clocked that this brooch could be special.
Necklace is R. Tenn think missing some cabs, Czech brooch and some random silver. Oh and the green necklace is taunting me as I’d like it to be UG but my torch is still hiding out somewhere :shifty:

And these all for £1. The glasses tell me they are Armani but I don’t know enough to know if they are or not.

    ARG!

    I think you scored, dear.

That jade bracelet is interesting. Nice early white milk glass and I've pieces that match the Tenn.

    Lucky find :)
The jade bracelet is just costume but I thought it was too nice to leave there, not sure what I’ll do with that yet.
The milk glass needs a really good clean as it has some rust stains. I like the dumb bell shape beads.
If you come across your Tenn in The Hoard, please can you take a photo?. I’d love to know what cabs were in there, if indeed they were.

Are the glasses marked with any numbers or lettering. I thought at one time someone mentioned that high end eye glasses had marks?

It was named Shocking also because ES invented Shocking Pink. Probably best known for that color, the shoe hat and an amazing lobster dress she designed with Dali.

Her jewelry is very desirable. Not so sure about the relaunched pieces, although Elsa probably would have laughed all the way to the bank about that Bella Hadid piece!

Tenn means pewter in Swedish. It turns up here fairly regularly and the stones do fall out. I'd be looking all over that green necklace too and showing pictures of the back. It's talking to me.

I can only find information about sunglasses being faked, nothing much about ordinary glasses. I’ve looked at photos on eBay and the ordinary glasses don’t look to be marked on the lenses just the sunglasses so I’m none the wiser. The quality feels good but who knows!. The styles are 80s and model numbers look right for the styles.

The Armani look fine. Those frames were about £100 or so back then. Quick iPad photos of the Tenn. They're green glass cabs. IMG_0834.jpg IMG_0835.jpg IMG_0836.jpg

Designer glasses will always be stamped but so are the counterfeits. More important to remember that designer glasses will always be of prescription quality unless they’re shields and that can be verified by any optician who can easily tell if they’re optical quality.

IMO the good relaunched pieces will hold the same as they’re holding for Balenciaga and everyone else who has relaunched the long dead greats of the past. As long as they stay relatively true to original quality and intent as opposed to e.g. the awful 80s licenses of Dior IMO they’ll hold.

The 80s Dior made by Grosse is very nice quality and collected.

There were definitely some decent licenses during that period but most of them were awful. The made in the USA clothing was terrible.

Yes and 80s Dior glasses are collectible but eyewear is ALWAYS a license. All the luxury houses license their eyewear. When I’m referring to the crapola Dior licenses I’m referring to clothing. Dior never made eyewear in house. None of them did. Luxury clothing houses never made eyewear, footwear, etc. Those were always contracted out. I wish I still had them but I had the most gorgeous Christian Dior evening shoes in the 80s. They were made by Charles Jourdan and I bought them at Charles Jourdan.

The full ad campaign. For all Dior licensed products.
