Featured Anyone know about Schiaparelli?

I’ve looked online but can’t find this brooch - has anyone got knowledge of Schiaparelli please? I can see some abstract ones but not this design.
Are particular designs sought after? Any websites with information?

Elsa Schiaparelli, Italian fashion designer, grandmother of Marisa Berenson, that's about all I know.

Known for her surrealist designs. Lots of interest now as the brand just relaunched its jewelry line with this piece worn by Bella Habid at Cannes. According to this, mark is post-1949. So later but... I would think quite desirable.

It is a 2 in one breast plate thing, wearing as she does, those look like roots, but wearing upright I suppose those are branches. I would be a nervous wreck if I had the guts and figure to wear that thing, so it would not be my choice to attach to a gown.

 

If you had the guts to wear that thing, you wouldn't be a nervous wreck.

 

If you tell me you bought this at a car boot sale for a quid, I shall scream. Loudly.

 

She also designed perfume bottles. The most notable being Shocking which was bottled in the shape of a woman's torso. Considering it came out in 1935 I imagine it did shock quite a few folks.

I sold a couple of her Sleeping bottles which are the ones shaped like a candle for a pretty hefty profit about 3 or 4 years ago.
