My mom gave me these on my last visit. She thinks they belonged to my grandmother, mom does not remember buying them. Do you think you could help ID them? they both have the same markings. Any help would be appreciated 20210718_113730.jpg 20210718_120834.jpg 20210718_121237.jpg

For the Italian silver one, the shape of the cartouche with the number inside would have been proper between 1944 and 1968.

Unfortunately the marks on the "goldtone" one cannot be read.

The wear through to silver on the clasp indicates these may be plated rather than 14k. I’d have them tested.

Going back to look at the pictures again, I now see that there is a 14K impressed in the lobster claw of the "silver" one. Rather odd, no?

I think it’s 585 on the first bracelet which is 14k white gold.
Can’t read the goldtone ones marks but the gold has worn off.

The first one looks silver or white gold in your picture?
Can you photo them both together?

Betty Jane, it is best to have them tested. Italian gold of the popular pieces isn't always gold.

Thats the truth! I once traded some cobalt glass (remember when that was all the rage?) with this guy for a very fat gold chain marked "14k Italy) . Should have had it tested beforehand . :)
