Can you read a Thai or Siamese name? I have a woodcut I thought was Indonesian.

I am putting this in a new posting because I want someone who can read Thai or Siamese to notice it. I thought this was Indonesian but was told that it looked Thai. Any help would be appreciated.

I never thought of going to a restaurant. I did send photos to a Thailand paper but they did not respond one way or the other. I'll try that.

My wife is Thai. The lettering with the dates is the artist's name but I can't do justice to converting her words into English. Starts with "Waht" The lettering in quotes is "Burma".

Maybe Wat, temple? The subject is a carved Buddha head in Angkor Wat. As far as I know Wat is also the Thai word for temple.

Thank you. The pieces are working together. If I can get my pinched nerve taken care of tomorrow maybe I can maybe get to a Thai restaurant

So is Waht the start of an English version of a name or a Thai word name? I am not sure what you mean.

The lettering in quotes is not “Burma”, it’s กัมพูชา or “Kambucha” (a common Thai word for Cambodia, and the picture is indeed a scene from Cambodia’s Angkor Wat).
Sorry, but I can’t quite make out the artist’s name on the top line.
The middle line refers, I think, to a series of woodcuts, this one being No. 6 of the series.
On the bottom line it is dated July 6, 1987 (6/July/2530).
