Featured More Auto Related Chairs(Ford Content)

I’m moving and got these down from the rafters…they’re a bit worse for wear unfortunately. These supposedly came from my Grandfather’s 30’s Ford Coupe. I’m guessing his uncle who was a carpenter made the feet. When we were young we called them “the Queen’s Chairs” and were strictly forbidden to lean back in them….and you know we did!

I thought they’d be fun to show y’all.

Thats the Great Depression mentality . Reuse everything,throw away nothing. What a clever idea though !

 

Fun story but... I thought 1930's cars had bench seats. Am I wrong?

I would imagine that someone who wanted to take his lady out and did not want a chaperone invented the original coupe carriage. LOL!
