  1. image000000.jpg image000002.jpg Hi All! I picked up 4 of these amazing side chairs with a label that I can't decipher the date. Could you please help me figure out the time of these chairs? And what they are worth? Thank you!!!

    It says they filed the business name in 1927 and it (the corporation name filing) expired in 2012, though they could have been out of business way before that, I suppose.
    My guess on your chairs is 1930s-50s. I'm afraid they'd be a bit of a hard sell here in the Midwestern USA. The desirability of dark brown wood is way down.
    But do wait for other more knowledgeable opinions.

    I think it’s oak is it heavy? I agree with brown no being in favor now but I love a beautiful natural brown piece and plastic MCM is going to be another passing fad with any luck.

    According to this, the stamp dates to the 1930s. Spanish Colonial Revival-ish in style.
