Large candle holders- Greek origin?

Found these large elaborate brass candle holders. Looks to be Greek in origin. They stand 58cm (22inches)tall and are heavy over 9kg each. I don’t know but they almost seem historical in some way. Any ideas? Anyone seen ones like these before? Thanks

 

The motif appears to be Classical Greek but doesn't mean their origin is Greece. Have you checked carefully for marks?

Hi Debora,good point,thanks. I have been researching but concentrating on the Athens/Greece origin idea. Yes, I will check any for marks (maybe missed something)

 

I think you'll find they're Western European and very possibly French.

Hello, could you please post closer photos of the Greek letters written on the amphora? I tried to read them but I couldn't make out anything. Thank you

 

Are the coins all different, all alike, same set on each piece? The one I can see looks like a replica of a Greek coin. I don't know what to think of this other than that it was never made in Greece. Looks like the designer threw in everything Greek looking he could think of. I am not spotting any letters on the amphora.

 

Pan or a Silenus. I think I see the double pipes Pan & his crowd play.

 

The topmost urn does not look screwed down all the way.
