Tarcisio Tosin Pig Bank ?

    Hello to All .. Not knowing anything about Italian Ceramics, It has taken me ages to establish the make of this large Piggy Bank ...

    I have come up with " La Freccia di Tarcisio Tosin " .... is that correct ?

    Where I am completely stuck is ..
    1. How old is he ?
    2. Best way to establish his worth £ .. ?

    (Emotional worth is already established :) )
    I know the old lady who owned him was born around 1920's .. did she buy him ?

    the plastic plug would indicate not too old.

    Yes, thank-you Lark - I thought that too - the hard plastic plug has IMP, Vicenza stamped on it .. which would place it around 1950's ...

    Markings on the piggy don't match that time ...
    for 1950's wouldn't the piggie have the words 'La Freccia' on it too ?

    Thank-you Lark - I hadn't thought to look that close at stopper ..
    could it be the stopper is a later replacement ?
    or were some pieces made without the 'La Freccia' written on them ?

    For comparison, these are supposed to be 1930s-1940s.
