WW2 Photos, Overpriced?

These WW2 photos came from a local estate. There are roughly 20-25 photos. They are displayed in a frame, so my pictures didn't turn out too great. They are priced $150 and I was wondering how much meat is left on the bone (so to speak). I know that photos with more historical significance are worth more. The guy standing in front of the Jeep resembles General Patton, but he might be a tad on the short/heavy side. Also the gas mask photo seems to be the most interesting. Any thoughts or insight as to locations in photos is greatly appreciated. One of the building has a sign that says "Mainz". Thanks, Joe

Overpriced. They are mostly, if not all, mass produced.

Dunno about the mass production, but some of those were printed in the States. The scalloped edge ones came from a drug store print shop somewhere. I don't think there's any profit left at that price, and I doubt another seller would break even, come to that.

    Hi,
I have to agree on the passing of these photos. 8 yrs ago I was passing a house where the family had put two trunks of WWll photographs. In albums with souvenir booklets of basic training and the guy's stations over in Europe. All photographs were labeled with names places and dates.
How could a family ditch all this history? I tried to give the VFW the trunks,
    they did want them.

I'll bet a local historical society would be all over them. I have a small shadow box with a dozen or so ruptured ducks in it. People didn't want those either, so I'm planning to hang them on a wall somewhere.

I'd pay $20 if I were hanging on to them.
