    I'm striving to be a minimalist myself. It's challenging when collecting is a passion however I find that you can still do both. While the rush for many collectors, regardless of their niche, is to discover and acquire, the ART of collecting is still curating. Seeking out information, history and knowledge can be equally as rewarding as acquisition. Film & book editors along with museum curators could all be looked at as minimalists yet a better word would be essentialists who each have mastered eliminating that which distracts us from the message. With a minimalist in the family it is likely that you will not have the opportunity to be a "one of every example or color" collector, but you can still play the game.
