Hello Board Friends - Does anyone recognize the manufacturer of this vase? I'm assuming art deco period and either German or Czech origin based on the mold and the colors. It stand a little under 8 1/2" tall and is marked 9298 1 on the base. The number near the rim is 19. There are two chips: one on the base and one visible in the first photo on the rim. Any opinions would be much appreciated. Thank you!
    Don

Hm. Airbrushed. Not convinced the numbering style is Czech.

agree. the mark looks more Belgium or Northern France. especially the Roman one "I " makes me think that it could be part of a cheminée set.
motif could be late 50s Sputnik era.

Yes, but not that shape. Colours/airbrushing are wrong too.

Most likely Austrian, OMO (Aerographed pottery was also made in Austria). It's obviously factory produced/moulded, probably under the influence of the Wiener Werkstatte style of hand-made pottery. The ring handles and quirky 'stepped' shape suggest this.

My thought was Belgian also based entirely on the look of the impressed numbers! Weird how one’s mind works...
