Vietnamese ? Lacquered Box

    The name looks Vietnamese, but the chicken and flowers look Chinese. I never heard that the Vietnamese had a tradition of lacquer work, but a pile of southern Chinese went to Viet Nam after the Communists took over so.... dunno.

    The flowers are peonies, but no clue on the birds. It looks like it's at least partially stencil work.
