I picked up these 2 small watercolors yesterday for a very reasonable price and considering I had store credit, it didn't cost me anything out of pocket. I particularly like the fact that they are by a Brown County artist, one of my areas of collecting. You can certainly see the illustrative quality in them, I suspect his style was influenced by his years in the advertising business. I like the bit in his bio where they invite people to come to the house, different era I guess. Anyway I thought folks might like to see them.
His signature was certainly influenced by his years in the ad business. Those are lovely. Work well as a pair and very appropriately framed. Debora
Have sold a couple of his works at good profit. Passed away in 2016 at 101 years of age. Prices jumped a bit on his passing. Here is a large one I had at one point.
