14k gold pearl pin with name

This little pin doesn't have any markings, only the name Esther Lundy Oct. 9 then the letter " E " below that. I tested it forst with 10k gold acid test then 14k, it is 14k gold. Anybody know what this pin was for or who made it and when ?

Native American Alpha Pi Omega Sorority

 

That last letter is not Omega, it's Phi (I think.)

 

Alpha Pi Phi sorority still seems to have quite a few chapters - some in Canada. I suspect that the large E below Esther's name and the date (probably when she joined) is for the Epsilon chapter.

 

It appears that the current Alpha Pi Phi Sorority organization began in 2009, so this pin must be for an older and no longer existing group.

 

This pin was in a little jewelry box with some Native sterling, those 14k gold lingerie pins and some baby teeth from the 60's.

Darn. Well, it's definitely "vintage" but probably not a true antique yet. The pin only goes into the little V thing. Maybe that's a hint on age. But that's beyond my pay grade. You need a joolie for that. @evelyb30 ?
