To me, these feel more like unfinished pieces than preliminary sketches. Which, if they were never finished, I'm not sure you can get to the product.

    Nice pieces, though!

These are finished paintings, the product images were cut and pasted then photographed and copy added. Maybe a mag. ad or poster. Hoping someone might know the product

I wonder whether it would be possible to use Google Image Search with just the ladies' faces to see if a match comes up?

Majorettes (and cheerleaders) were very popular for a bit -- I'm sure the OP knows, but if you google "vintage majorette ads," you'll find tons.

Not that majorettes had anything to do with the products.

But they always look very enthusiastic.

Something's up with the board. Some folks can't post on this thread, including the Moderator. @daveydempsey (let's see what that does)

I think that first one looks like an old school Listerine bottle. The others may have been maquettes, meant for reproduction so assorted advertisers could have their lettering added. The lady might promote shaving cream in Buffalo and aspirin in Peoria.

I'm almost certain I've seen the second lady advertising Coca Cola, now that you mention it.

All looks like the same girl in the painting - but no idea what she is trying to advertise
