#2 - metallic thread brooch with plastic part on back - sorry, I don't know what to call the plastic part but it has a patent # 2357782 that was issued in 1944, they call it 'pendant pin structure'. I thought at first part of a military badge, looks like a crown to me, but now I don't think so?

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

#1 LOOKS YUMMY!!!! But what I just read says 'natural amethyst' generally are what's called 'eye clean'....but I personally can't say!!!

The embroidered one, maybe a cap badge/hat decoration? I was once told that those mixed plastic/metal pin assemblies were a war time thing due to lack of metal for civilian use.

It usually is, but you can get amethyst with goethite inclusions that look like this, quite uncomon. Can't say for use it's amethyst without testing but it does look ok.
