    Sure look like trade beads, but recent or old is a good question. My guess is new-ish.

    Agree African. Can’t identify age but the stringing is newer.

    Another vote for African.
    The millefiore beads are Venetian. The striped beads look like recent Krobo beads from Ghana. Krobo beads are made from recycled glass from bottles, window panes, etc.

    It's often called powder glass here. That's what I thought too, but it's been copied and made elsewhere. The necklace could be East African easily enough. Kenyan maybe.
