Artist Seitzinger?

I am in the process of clearing out a family member's home and found this sculpture. I can't find anything similar on the internet. I was able to find artists with the last name of Seitzinger, but none of their work looks like this. Does anyone know this artist and if this scultpure has any signficiant value?

I don't know anything about the artist, but think it's a really nice, sensitively done piece. Even the little detail of the way the woman on the left is touching the woman on the right with her hand says volumes to me.

I did see that item - actually that's what led me to this site. I think the boy's face and hands do have some of the same characteristics and the womens' face. I wish this poster had posted the final findings.

 

I agree. it is really an interesting piece and I'm not sure why I like it so much, ha!

Welcome, Kristen! The details on this are very nice. Love the kitty curled up on the floor. What is on the bench between the 2 women with their backs facing us? A bottle?

I did see the indian woman carving and the style was so different that I moved on. But the Bella Bella sculpture makes me wonder.

I just took one picture today. I will be back at the house tomorrow and will get better pictures to post. Silly me, I thought I'd just go home and look it up and that would be it. Several hours later, I'm still looking! Haha!

 

Also, This was my Mother in Law's piece and she loved Santa Fe when she visited there many many years ago. I'm leaning more toward Arlene vs David Seitzinger. If I could just find her signature on one of her pieces. I'm thinking it may not be worth much, but it is definitely an interesting piece.

 

I can't tell either. I am going back to the house to get better pictures tomorrow.
