Other than a general Google search and Ebay, are there ways to search for specific items?
I love this Royal Worcester design and haven't had much luck finding pieces in the design. I did read a post in this group that said that early Royal Worcester designs didn't necessarily have pattern names.
Currently, I'm looking for this design that has berries and spiders/spider webs. This pitcher currently on eBay.
    Thank you for any advice!!

I don't recall Worcester having a crown mark with five rounded tips so the ebayer is probably incorrect. If you could supply a large screen shot of the mark we may be able to help more and welcome kjtown.

I see a bunch of Worcester jugs the same shape, though not in the same pattern, dating around 1875-1905. Would be nice to get a close up of the mark though.

Is the mark a Worcester mark? I think I'd ask the seller for a better photo. I have a flat back jug that's almost a dead ringer for the Worcester shape shown, but it's Royal Rudolstadt.

I don't see a loopy crown mark like that in Godden's for Royal Worcester and I browsed through Kovel's on all the crown marks without seeing one quite like it. (But then my eyes are tired so could have missed it.) Somewhere I have another book or two on Worcester I will try to pull out if no one finds more.

    That original mark isn't Worcester.

I'll see if I can get a close up of the mark. Someone I work with has a saucer in this pattern - it is so striking to me with the spider as an added bonus that makes it irresistible to me. The saucer says Royal Worcester on the bottom.

The shape of the pitcher is very odd to me; is it a certain type of pitcher?

There is no rush but that would be wonderful when it is convenient for you! See Bakersgma's comment above re:1885

Here is a lovely example. Bakersgma, it aligns with the date you found.

Nice, Kathy! Keep in mind that registration dates are for the design, not the date actually made, so someone's guess at 1890 is definitely in the right ballpark.

Although it looks like a RW flatback jug, that mark isn’t RW. If it was RW, then I would expect to see a printed mark like the one in SIS’s post.

Looks like you sold it so this info might be even more useless than the useless it is:).

I looked through the books I have on Worcester without any further help. They primarily focus on the 18th Century (which is really where my interest lies) and the books with some information offer nothing further.

I flipped through Godden's Encyclopaedia of British Marks (they are organized by maker not by mark shape) and didn't see any British mark illustrated that was even close to yours.

Since the shape is known to be produced elsewhere I wonder if the artist moved around or if someone else copied the pattern. Anyway, it does occur to me that if @Chris Marshall stops by he might recognize it as German. He is a member here but I don't know if he will stop by or not. You might email him at his website.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply and taking the time to do some research on this pattern. Thank you for the information on connecting with Chris. I will email and see if he has any info. My friend's piece in the same pattern is stamped Royal Worcester - I'll see if I can get a photo of her mark.

I was able to find and purchase a 6" tall flat back pitcher at a reasonable price. The colors aren't as vibrant as I've seen but it doesn't appear to be fading but rather the choice of design painted on the smaller piece. I can also do some searching re: the mark on my piece with the addition of the place of origin, Austria. I'm going to keep looking for another piece that shows off the more vibrant color, but for now, I'm quite happy to have this sweet piece in my collection. It is interesting to think about artists moving around. I'm very new to this, so I'm glad to be able to draw on the wisdom of this group.

    Thank you!
