Overpainted ? Painting

    I did not buy it because I have no clue who made it. I’d guess an amateur.

    Artists sometimes reuse a canvas, so that might be the explanation.

    It appears to have been prepared for reuse, then abandoned. I wouldn't think it would be possible to remove the white paint, unless by some chance the white and the original painting are different types of paint.

    From what I can see of the original painting it wouldn't be worth the time and money. Pretty amateur looking. Probably someone who paints in their free time.
