Featured "MADE IN HOLLAND" interesting bowl--need help with mark

    I just bought this wonderful bowl. It's marked "Made in Holland" on the bottom, but I can't read the rest of the mark. It has a swirled marbled looking pattern. It's 3" high and measures 5 3/4" across. There are several hairline cracks and it's heavily crazed.

    Yes, that is the link I posted.;)

    Here in the Netherlands that would be called a farmer's coffee bowl because they were mostly used in rural areas. But this one seems to be too big for a coffee bowl.

    The stamp on your bowl looks very much like the stamp on a mixing bowl I have, which has been in the family since ca 1900-1910. But then again, the stamps changed very little over the years.
    I would associate that brightly coloured marbling with the Art Nouveau period, which is roughly the same.
