I've hardly scratched the surface of the latest clearance, I was there for 3 hours today, searching all the drawers, cupboards, cabinets and hiding places.
    It was quite fruitful.

I found a lot of cash, mainly UK and US but lots of overseas money too.

There was 27 actually so £540 plus the 5 x consecutive numbered 1948 £1 notes are estimated to be around £300 and about £30 in change :D
    A good 3 hours work, ;)

Woo hoo! Now that's what I call scratching up some cash! Dump/tip fees already paid.

My guess is that the dump/tip fees were part of the negotiated fee that Davey was given when he was hired. Along with the fee for the dumpster & any other misc. fees. ;):p:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::D

True, but it still had to get paid ... and the homeowner just paid it.(LOL) Gotta love when that happens.

Direct from 1954, here is another thing that I don’t need but brought home from the thrift store anyway! It was designed by Raymond Loewy who apparently was often called “The Father of Streamlining” and “The Father of Industrial Design”. Loewy designed Coca-Cola vending machines, Studebakers, and even locomotives for Pennsylvania Railroad, among other things.

It’s like brand new and even still has the Guaranteed by Good Housekeeping sticker on the front! Unfortunately it is missing the rotisserie spit rod but I’m still hoping to make a tidy profit on FB marketplace or craigslist. I’m not listing it on fleaBay because it weighs a ton.

    Nice score!

This is now hanging over the fireplace. I was wondering how I was going to ship it or if I wanted to... when my mom took one look and glommed it. It's now over the fireplace. Apparently a local artist.
