1.jpg 2.jpg The Bath School disaster, also known as the Bath School massacre, was a series of violent attacks perpetrated by Andrew Kehoe on May 18, 1927, in Bath Township, Michigan. The attacks killed 38 elementary schoolchildren and 6 adults, and injured at least 58 other people. Prior to his timed explosives going off at the Bath Consolidated School building, Kehoe had murdered his wife, Nellie Price Kehoe, and firebombed his farm. Arriving at the site of the school explosion, Kehoe died when he detonated explosives concealed in his truck.

Really nice real photo postcard of rather grim subject matter. These disaster cards documenting the event can be really desirable.

And we thought this kind of thing was exclusive to our time. :(

I have read about this before though I have never seen that picture . Looks to be a Model T judging by the 4 wooden vibrating spark coils in the square box next to the engine block, and what looks like a Model T vibrating horn ( not an a-ogga horn) . Front wheel has some really long spindle caps , maybe it was a Model TT truck , hard to tell . Looks like Model T headlights . I wonder what they found of him ...probably not much .

I had a relative buried in a cigar box .....welding inside of fuel oil tank that had been used for water storage for years when it blew up.....my Dad says about 1931, a cousin of his fathers I think . nasty way to go, at least his was an accident and it only got him. This is pure evil.......

I think the inset of Kehoe's picture on the front of the postcard is a nice touch.

Doesn't look a thing like him compaired to the one on Wiki...it's so heavily doctored... the one on wiki , he looks rather unpleasant just sitting there .

I did see this picture on WIKI, without the paste in of him. I noticed that the steering column of the Model T is bent straight up , with the reverse dish Model T wheel still on it . even more noticable is the fact there is no rear left of the car / truck. What I thought was a firewall is simply the shadow of the car backed up to it .
