Tell me about Jacques Molin please!

I picked this up as I like the colour and the simple lines (and it was very cheap )
Can anyone tell me about the maker?. There is nothing online that I can find so I was wondering if it’s made for a department store as a ‘name’ rather than an independent?

I've seen those in green with those lovely fat gilded breakfast coffee cups.

 

No idea why I bought a coffee pot . Thought it would look nice with some flowers in it.
