Any geologists? Trying to find what kind of rock is this green rock?

I have been looking at photos of green rocks and have concluded it is a green rock. Each one I look at I see similarities--chrysocalla, chlorite, actinolite, ammonite with green something and even emerald. Uncle. Any help would be appreciated. Not a must that I learn but it is very attractive and I like learning. 1E32FDBD-AB4E-43EB-98F2-B61B02CC167B.jpeg

I have one almost exactly like that. No idea where it came from. The rock is ... rock.

Is it definitely rock? Looks more like enameled something.

Not a geologist but maybe try Zoisite.

There’s a group on Reddit called “What’s this rock” who have helped me identify several. Maybe try there.

It's standing on citrine. I know because I got my first piece of citrine from the Smithsonian.

Not the beak, which could be citrine, the green rock. Thanks.
Thanks for telling me about that site. I just posted on it. I see similarities to zoisite as well but it doesn't fully like it to me. Thank you.

Perhaps unakite? My monitor is picking up pinks in the stone. Can you see pink within/around the stone?

You know what, I looked with a stronger magnifying glass and alas, I think it might be painted. Still not sure but feel more confident that it is than that it isn't. Still beautiful to me. Would you guess the geode is tapas and the beak citrine or topaz as well?

The geode section would be citrine & probably heated to get that dark color. According to my gems & minerals guide, 'Most commercial citrines are heat treated amethysts.'

No parts of the bird, including beak & eye, look like stone to me. Are the bird's body & tail all one piece?

No the tail is separate and attached. Maybe it is a softer stone that they engrave or etch and then paint. Now that you say that, maybe it is a softish rock that is easy to carve and then painted or poured out of pottery, etched or engraved and painted. Yep. Thanks. It takes a village, for me anyway. Also thanks for the citrine/heated amethyst information.
