Featured Glass costume bracelet

    Something I found in a charity shop, don't think it's anything special but dead cheap don't really know how to describe it

    Any ideas on age or origin would be helpful, thanks

    I think I see greenies on the metal cups holding the green stones. This is corrosion and will spread on other parts of the bracelet and can spread to other pieces of jewelry. Please isolate it to stop the spread.

    Some boardies try to clean it up with vinegar or ketchup, wait for them to stop by with suggestions :)

    It looks like "old green" and if so you can safely leave it alone. The bracelet looks Turkish or similar; that's not a European clasp.

    Agreed, Turkish or maybe North African. I;m not too fussed about the green either: old toothbrush with a bit of vinegar will clean it.

    India also used this type of clasp & they make big, gaudy jewellery.
