I am hoping someone might recognize these pieces. They are faceted with 6 sided stems. They are 2 1/2" to the side edge & are 2 3/8" across the top.

Well I am here to tell you these would not hold enough to even bother with for me.

I just checked & they hold 1 ounce when filled to the rim. However, you wouldn't be able to do that if you were going to serve them to someone because you would end up with vodka, or whatever, all over the floor. ;)

Peggy, I had a set of similar glasses as these. I bought a huge set of Gorham Cherrywood stemware and barware from a woman who also had these (see photo). I thought they were also by Gorham and part of her pattern, although they were not marked and the other items were marked Gorham. They sold well on ebay, but I think that I made a mistake at that time. A couple of years later, I found a cordial decanter on ebay with a matching set of these type glasses. So now I think that they were just part of a cordial set, likely made in Europe somewhere, lead crystal. They are kind of cute, but you're right, at one ounce, they're hardly worth it. Although I've had some "cordial" "liquers" that any more than a tiny tiny sip would kill you! You know, cause you to choke and cough.

I'd put them in the cabinet with my collection of salts and no one would be the wiser. ;)

Me too! Heacock & Johnson's, 5,000 Open Salts, p. 172, #3552 has kind of a similar shape with similar dimensions - 2 1/4" high, 2 1/4" diameter. The big difference is that it is pressed glass. The authors say "foreign pressed salt, circa 1920's to recent." If I had to label this one, I would probably call it a faceted pedestal shot glass. Shot glasses do come in sets.
